Peru Rally Support Vehicle

Looking seriously cool in a hot Peru!

Earlier in the week, we transformed this 1908s Ford Transit by adding some matt black stripes.

The van will act as a support vehicle across South America for a mammoth rally for classic and vintage cars.

With the addition of matt black vinyl graphics contrasting it's unique gloss paintwork, means it will be easily identifiable to everyone taking part in the rally and it will allow the van to stand out, giving peace of mind to participants by ensuring that mechanical help is on the way!

An insight into our 2025 projects so far...

Sun strips to chevrons, sign writing to pavement signs. This is just a small selection of the services we offer.

Lately, we have been working on a range of different projects, including partial wraps to the side panel of a Mini Scamp, sign writing supplied and installed to a Vauxhall Combo for a customer wishing to achieve a clean but stylish look for their mobile coffee van and some subtle company logos on a pair of oil drums which were used as furniture for a local, family run automotive garage.

We aren't just limited to supply and install of vinyl graphics, we also offer removal of vinyl and window films.

Earlier in the year, we were tasked with a job of removing some tired looking stripes from a Mini Cooper and replaced with a new set to give the vehicle a fresh look.

At another job, we travelled to Hindhead, Surrey to remove some externally fitted solar window film from a shop front.

(We can also supply and fit window films for privacy, heat and glare control and UV control to reduce the fading of furniture in windows.)

Some smaller jobs we've taken on has included supplying an aluminium composite/Dibond workshop sign for AK Autokleen, an local, independent vehicle paint correction and detailing business in Liss, a pavement sign for Twillys, a sewing and alterations shop based in Petersfield and we also had the honour of supplying sticker sets for some of the entrants who competed in the 2025 Bordon Soapbox Derby!

Working with one of the biggest national aggregates companies...

Established in 2018, South Downs Signs have already completed 100s of projects across the South of England.

Our first major project required us to travel across many different locations, where we were faced the task of sign writing 5 tankers for Hanson Cement Group.

Since then we have also worked with small, local businesses which have required signs for shop fronts, company vehicles branded with logos and contact details and workwear being printed.

We have sign written a variety of vehicles which range from a fleet of tankers for Hanson Cement Group and Volvo Tipper Lorries for local company Williams of Bordon who specialise in demolition and supplying or removal of hardcore, concrete and top soil.

Smaller companies have reached out to South Downs Signs for sign writing on company vans.

These projects include installing vinyl graphics on a Citroen Nemo for BTE Automotive - a family run automotive garage.

A Vauxhall Movano Van for Mike Jackson, who competes in drifting events for the British Championships and we also supplied and fitted their sponsor's logos to the race car. Mike was so pleased with the outcome of his van that he also asked us to sign write the truck for his vehicle recovery company - MJ Recovery.

We have also supplied and fitted company logos and contact details in forest green vinyl on a white Volkswagen Transporter for a lawn care company - this combination was very simple but an effective design in advertising the customer's business as the colours contrasted nicely to catch potential client's attention.

We have worked on a number of cars for Suzuki main dealer Town and Country Cars, located in Holybourne, Alton who asked us to supply and fit promotional advertising graphics and contact details for their finance cars and courtesy cars.

South Downs Signs also sign written courtesy cars for two other garages one being BTE Automotive based in Bordon and the other, AutoMatt in Petersfield.

Over the years South Downs Signs have been asked to sign write some unusual vehicles such as recovery trucks, agricultural machines and a range of plant machinery on construction sites. So no job is too difficult for us!

Not only do South Downs Signs offer our expertise in sign writing but we are also able to offer alternatives services such as, banners, pavement signs and paper substrate printing like business cards and leaflets to name a few.
